ARRRRRR-twork

About a month ago, Mommee commissioned a friend of hers who is a storybook writer/illustrator to do a portrait of Gus and Waldo for the baby's room. She wanted it to showcase their personalities, and also reflect the story of the pears (one of Mommy's favorite memories of us).

Mommee met Jennifer through her church, and has been excited to see her publish her first children's book called Sir Bumble. It is one of Avonlea's favorite stories. Mommee loves Jennifer's art style, and asked her if she would do a portrait.

Jennifer sent Mommee the final draft tonight, and she could not have been more pleased!!  She captured the boys' personalities so beautifully, don't you think?

If you have never heard the pear story, you can follow this link to find it.

Mommee wanted to highlight the boys' love for each other, demonstrated so clearly in the pear story, with the hopes that the human kids would have the same relationship with each other.

If you are interested in a custom portrait, let me know in the comments, and i can get Jennifer's info for you!
